Welcome |
|
Thank you for your interest in Buddhist
Pilgrimage. Please enjoy the site and
feel free to contact me with any questions.
I first met my teacher, Venerable Robina
Courtin in 1989 when I attended a series
of classes with her in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Her blend of down-to-earth practical
advise, humor and intellect were exactly
what I had been searching for. |

Our
highly qualified pilgrimage leaders
incorporate Tibetan Buddhist practices
and the teachings handed down by
our teachers (Lama Zopa Rinpoche
and Lama Thubten Yeshe) into the
pilgrimages. These are not sightseeing
or shopping tours (although you will
have free time and are welcome to
do both) but an authentic introduction
into the Buddhist way of life. In
addition to being a great opportunity
to further your knowledge of Tibetan
Buddhism these pilgrimages are also
a chance to help others, as they are for the benefit of various non-profits and other worthy organizations. |
|
Thanks again for your interest. If
you need any assistance, it will be
my pleasure to help you. I hope you
can join us on what could be the beginning
of an extremely rewarding life long
journey. |

Best wishes,
Pilgrimage Coordinator

"Normally
when people go on pilgrimage, they are
just like tourists; maybe they take
some pictures, and that's it. They don't
use the places to collect merit or to
meditate or to get some benefit for
their minds. If it's just like sightseeing,
then it won't be that much benefit."
