I loved our trekking guides! They were kind, friendly, professional, and willing to help us experience Nepal. They were a window to their country - sharing with us about music, language, home life, etc. They kept track of us and were extremely attentive to our needs. I felt very safe with them, and they became an integral part of the whole group of "new friends" that was our pilgrimage! Monique Vincent, Waterbury, VT U.S.A. (Lawudo Trek & Retreat 2018)

The fact that I was blessed to join you (Ven Robina) and the other fellow pilgrims on this unforgettable journey is only due to your inexhaustible energy and kindness, for which I am forever grateful. Your teachings at the Deer Park and the magical energy of this place, as well as the overwhelming power, which I could feel pervading me in Shravasti, changed the way I perceive the study and practice of Dharma and motivated me to keep going forward. |

Effie, you were always immediate in your responses and took time to answer all our questions...we needed to be really well prepared and felt like we were, especially with the medical information. The leaders (Ven. Tenzin Chogkyi and Amber Tamang) were wonderful... We were very grateful for their experience and knowledge. |

The value of spending so much
time with a person living in vows
(Ven. Robina) was priceless. I
will forever be grateful that
I made the decision to participate
in the pilgrimage. The experience
has given me meaning and direction
in my life. |

I had hoped before I left that
it would help me with my daily
practice at home. It did and now
I'm doing much better. |

I
didn't really know what to expect
as I'm not a Buddhist. It was
fantastic - meeting very nice
people, experiencing exotic
places, and studying the basics
of Buddhism. |

Amber did an awesome job of
making sure everything went as
planned. The pilgrimage was an
incredible opportunity to be in
Ven. Robina's presence for a whole
month. |

Wonderful, friendly, and professional
service by Effie and her office
staff. I felt special and well
cared for. I'd encourage doubtful
potential clients to get in touch
with past clients. |

You can't explain this opportunity,
it is so broad. The memories and
the lessons and the teachings
and the cooperation of this group
traveling together will stay with
me. |

The opportunity to make a pilgrimage
like this comes along maybe once
in a lifetime. After the trip
I felt calmer and more centered.
Things seem clearer. I am much
more focused, and my commitment
to Buddhism has increased. |

The Pilgrimage was a rich and
rewarding experience, so much
still to reflect on and to process.
It all ran very smoothly which
is amazing considering the challenges
that the culture and terrain present
the traveller with. It already
feels another lifetime away. |

It was a lot of fun. We kept
very busy and I liked that. It
surpassed my expectations. I don't
know how you could improve the
long drives through India but
that was a down point. |

The Pilgrimage was much better
prepared and catered for then
I expected. The hotels were top
class...and the places we went
to beyond my expectations. It
was well organized. I was really
happy. Gleaming in fact! |

The
Pilgrimage exceeded my expectations.
Everyone involved was knowledgeable,
courteous and organized. The food was
great. Although physical fitness was
mentioned in the brochure perhaps it
needs to be stressed more as some people
were not aware walking was involved. |

This pilgrimage was the most amazing experience. We visited many powerfully holy places and traveled with Ven. Robina who led us through each of these places with pujas and even read us stories on the bus. Our guide Amber was incredibly competent, kind, informative and funny. Our driver and his helper looked after us and kept us safe on the road. Our group got on famously and all felt a connection having shared this pilgrimage adventure. |
